Irdorath is one of the leading acts of the new wave of Slavic pagan folk, delivering an original and powerful live show rooted in Belarusian mythology.
An Irdorath performance is pure kinetic energy: electronic beats are woven together with classical instruments (cello), medieval instruments (bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy, didgeridoo) and folk vocals, creating a living, wild and physically driving sound. Combined with the visual aesthetics of the show - handcrafted costumes and stage decor in a unified style, along with myths narrated from the stage - this creates a full immersion into a dark Belarusian fairytale: a world previously unknown and unlike any other, yet so captivating that one wants to return to it.
Since 2023 Irdorath has been based in Berlin. Before relocating, the band had already built a decade-long background: three studio albums and appearances at major European festivals, including Wacken Open Air. This path was abruptly interrupted when, in 2020, the musicians took part in protests in Belarus against the Lukashenko dictatorship, after which they were arrested, recognized as political prisoners and spent two years in prison. After their release the band was forced to flee to Germany, where a new chapter of life and creativity began.

From their new base in Berlin, Irdorath has already made a strong statement on the European scene: the band tours actively across Europe and performs at major festivals, reinforcing the reputation of a powerful live act.
Irdorath has repeatedly played headline and co-headline festival slots, supported d’Artagnan and In Extremo, appeared as guest musicians with Letzte Instanz and Corvus Corax, and completed their first headlining European tour.
Irdorath has proven itself a reliable and working festival act: the band consistently delivers strong live performances under different conditions and remains a unique phenomenon on the European scene, unmatched in its combination of quality, energy and Belarusian mythological aesthetics. This potential positions Irdorath as a project capable of securing a stable place in the European music market and bringing new original currents into it.

At present, the band is actively developing new material and working on a new album scheduled for release in spring 2026. This will be the first conceptual release in Europe to introduce European audiences to Belarusian mythology and culture in such a multilayered form. In addition to the album, a book with illustrations, lyric translations and myth explanations will be published, as well as music videos and lyric videos with commentary. In parallel, a new stage show is being developed to immerse audiences even deeper into the world of Slavic mythology.
Irdorath is open to collaboration and invite festivals to be among the first to present the new show dedicated to Slavic mythology and created in support of the upcoming album.
